As Elephant & Castle undergoes a period of significant redevelopment, Siobhan Davies Dance, Entelechy Arts and The People’s Bureau were working together with day centres, care homes and community groups in Southwark to collate memories and stories from local residents.

On 25 January and 24 February, The People’s Bureau were holding sessions at their cart in the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre between 11am and 4pm. These sessions included a skills exchange and moments of creative movement. Creative gatherings took place at Siobhan Davies Studios to weave ideas and shared memories into a public work.

In March, participants took part in a durational public performance in the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre.
